FOSSE
This small Fenouilledes village is nestled in the center of a small valley surrounded by meadows, Fosse is divided into two areas: part of the village is perched high on the south side of a rocky outcrop and a lower part of the village "Les Cabanes" is in the center of a trough at the base of a spring.
There is evidence to indicate that the area has been inhabited since 1011. The church with its "Bell Tower" (two asymmetrical bays) dates from the eighteenth century.
Today, Fosse is renowned for its tranquility.
This is the starting point for many hikes: Boucheville, Cathar Castles, discovery trails.
A swimming pool (supervised) is open in July and August.
